About Infront

At Infront, we are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace, recognizing our diverse team as one of our most valuable assets.

For 25 years, Infront has been empowering financial market experts to make faster, smarter, compliant decisions. Over time, we have expanded our foundation by bringing together companies with more than 75 years of combined market experience and trust. All these years on, we're still building. Opening our new Madrid office this summer marks an exciting next chapter, and we're growing our team in order to write it.

Our strength lies in market data, delivering reliable, accurate information through a powerful suite of tools, spanning Data Intelligence, Wealth Management solutions, and Trading & Investor solutions, that our users depend on every day. Today, we are one of Europe’s leading providers of market data and financial software, helping professionals navigate markets with confidence and speed

About the Role

We are seeking a Content Analyst to join our Madrid Office and to build an analytical layer for financial data. You will help us understand the sourcing, structure, quality, licensing and economics of the data we use, turning that analysis into better content decisions and support for business needs.

This is an analytical role, distinct from content administration. You will work with business analysts and respond to internal data needs, including requests from Sales for new data or for data that may already exist in our databases.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate relevant public data sources and define how they can be integrated into the data intake, e.g. XBRL/EDGAR, DTCC/Dodd-Frank data and regulatory, instrument and company documents such as prospectuses, term sheets, factsheets and annual/interim reports.
  • Analyse vendor coverage, quality, licensing and cost; optimise the overall data-provider setup.
  • Analyse potential partnerships in the content area: Clarity, S&P, Nordea, Stockpulse
  • Maintain deep expertise in financial instruments, financial data models and canonical data schemas.
  • Identify and analyse internal data-quality, coverage and consistency problems.
  • Define data-quality rules, validation logic and enrichment requirements.
  • Identify strategic data gaps and recommend build / source publicly / partner / buy decisions.
  • Own the Data Catalogue, including definitions, lineage, sources, coverage, quality and availability.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts on translating market and client requirements into concrete data requirements.

Who you are

What you'll bring

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience working with data, preferably financial data.
  • An understanding of financial-data concepts or a willingness to quickly build that knowledge.
  • Technical affinity and comfort working with data-related tools and technology.
  • Some experience with Python, MATLAB, R, VBA or Excel is preferred; low-code experimentation is also valuable.
  • Interest in using AI-driven approaches in data work.
  • The ability to get up to speed quickly and translate business questions into data analysis.
  • Familiarity with areas such as bond reference data, regulatory data delivery, EDGAR, DTCC or XML schemas would be useful.

Our offer

Health & wellness: Benefit from wellbeing initiatives tailored to local needs, including access to an employee assistance programme that provides confidential support to employees and their families.
Holiday: Enjoy competitive holiday entitlement aligned with local markets, so you can rest and recharge.
Remote work: Enjoy the opportunity to work one day a week from home, with flexible working hours where possible. You may also request to work up to four weeks per year from a different location.
